Labor union leader, Dennis Martire
Dennis Martire has led a life fully committed to labor unions and the many, many employees they serve in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Only four years after graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Martire began his three-decade career with the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA). From 1990 through today, he’s acted in roles with increasing responsibility, extending his leadership and knowledge to the organization as well as numerous advisory boards and committees. With various positions for the first decade of his work with LIUNA, Dennis Martire ascended to the elected position of vice president and regional manager over the mid-Atlantic area. He’s remained in that leadership role since that time as well as worked with his local Pittsburgh union chapter, #1058.
