The elected LIUNA member Dennis Martire

Dennis Martire, who resides in Virginia, began his career with the Laborers’ International Union of North America back in 1990.It was only a few years after completing his Bachelor of Science in government at West Virginia Wesleyan College. He started with LIUNA as an international representative for the organization’s jurisdictional disputes department. From there, his career progressed quickly.

Shortly after starting the job, Dennis Martire was promoted with LIUNA to assistant director then director of the laborers’ construction department. But his advancements did not end there. LIUNA continued to recognize his leadership and skills with labor unions by appointing him as assistant regional manager of the mid-Atlantic region in 2000. Two years later, through an election process, Martire earned the role of vice president and regional manager of the mid-Atlantic. He has held this elected position since 2002, continuing to extend success and skill to LIUNA.
