Dennis Martire helps to lead Laborer’s Union
Following a full career of successes thus far, Dennis Martire was elected to the role of vice president and mid-Atlantic regional manager for the Laborers’ International Union of North America. He started in this role in 2002. This post comes after significant work with laborers’ unions in previous decades. Most recently, Martire acted as assistant regional manager of the mid-Atlantic region for two years. Prior to that, he was director of the organization’s construction department following a stint as assistant director. It was in 1990, serving as international representative for the LIUNA jurisdictional disputes department, when his work with the Laborers’ International Union began. He has remained with LIUNA ever since, with more than three decades of service today.
